Manufacturer bragging rights are on the line when the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship returns to the Motor City for the Chevrolet Sports Car Classic Presented by the Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers, part of the prestigious Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix.
The WeatherTech Championship Prototype (P), Prototype Challenge (PC) and GT Daytona (GTD) classes compete in the 100-minute race on the Raceway at Belle Isle Park, a challenging 2.35-mile temporary street circuit.
The race will be televised live on FS1, beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. It will also be streamed live on the FOX Sports GO app with FS1 authentication.
IMSA Radio, a co-production with Radio Show Limited, continues providing live audio coverage of all WeatherTech Championship practice, qualifying and race sessions. Friday, June 3 (All Times ET) IMSA Radio coverage begins on IMSA.com with opening WeatherTech Championship practice from 8:05-9:35 a.m. The second practice runs from 12:55-2:25 p.m. Qualifying will be streamed live on IMSA.tv and the IMSA mobile app, beginning at 5:05 p.m. with a 15-minute session for GTD competitors, followed by the PC class at 5:25 p.m. and the Prototypes at 5:50 p.m.
Saturday, June 4 The Chevrolet Sports Car Classic Presented by the Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers begins with live coverage on FS1 and the FOX Sports GO app at 12:30 p.m. Live in-car cameras, timing and scoring and IMSA Radio will be streamed on IMSA.com and the IMSA mobile app. Action begins with a 30-minute warm-up session at 8 a.m.
