Toni Vilander

Ferrari veteran Vilander brings a wealth of Prancing Horse experience to the WeatherTech Racing team. The Finn spent the last ten years driving with Italian powerhouse AF Corse with wins at Le Mans and Bathurst to his credit. 


At the age of five, Vilander began racing karts and was crowned the Finnish Karting Champion in 1995. In the following years, Vilander brought home a number of titles including the German and Oceanic Karting Championships.

In 2001, Vilander began piloting open-wheel cars and a few years later was competing in F3, Formula 3000, and Italian GT series races. Between 2005 and 2009, Vilander collected a series of first place finishes including Italian GT Championship (GT1 and GT2), MilMilhas Brasil – GT2, and back to back FIA GT (GT2) wins.

Vilander is a veteran of the 24 Hours of LeMans having competed at Circuit de la Sarthe ten times in the past eleven years. Driving along with members of the AF Corse team and Risi Competizione , Vilander, stood atop the podium five times including two first place finishes in 2012 and 2014.

In 2017, Vilander took first place in the Liqui Moly Bathhurst 12 hour at the Mount Panorama Circuit with Maranella Motorsport becoming the second Finnish driver in history to win the Bathhurst 12 Hour.
